Pre-Selection Vetting & Merit Assessments

First, Phuran Philanthropic provides our clients with world-class pre-selection vetting and merit assessment of candidate organizations who are under consideration for competitive grants, or awards. Phuran offers the most meticulous and thorough vetting of grant/endowment applications, whether they be for specific service programs, blanket operations requests, economic development, or research funding. As a product of the vetting process, Phuran offers the most comprehensive merit and risk assessments in the industry. The Phuran team has a proven track record of accurately projecting the success and likelihood that a given grant, as put forth in an application, will attain the goals and objectives outlined in the grant proposal. A charitable board’s grant award decisions will impact hundreds of lives, and generally represents substantial financial awards and investments. Given this, Phuran is committed to providing our clients with merit assessments that are clear, accurate, fair, and unbiased.

Grant & Program Optimization Services

In addition, Phuran offers grant and program optimization services. Phuran’s experienced team of project advisors will provide a wide range of logistical, financial, legal, and government relations expertise to grant recipients. Our grant optimization teams will work with existing grant administrators to dramatically improve the effectiveness of grant programs or projects, by identifying general efficiencies and assisting with logistical support for program operations. Phuran optimization teams have a proven track record of successfully navigating operational impediments, most notably for grant projects and programs operating in developing countries, areas of political and economic instability, or geographic areas where a lack of infrastructure and support may impede a given project’s success.

Post-Award Oversight & Compliance Monitoring

Finally, we offer the most thorough post-award oversight of a grant recipient’s fiscal and program operations. Phuran teams will monitor and report on the compliance, progress and performance of grant recipients. When requested, Phuran teams will augment the efforts of existing grant administrators by making formal recommendations, or actively working with the grant administrators.
